...I wouldn't have to deal with weight. Why can't those extra pounds just fall off??

...people wouldn't cuss at their kids (and on that note, teach their kids to cuss and think it's funny)
...I could take all of the kids that are being mistreated and bring them home to my house.
...we didn't have to deal with politics. Hearing everyone bash each other just gets annoying.

Amen! And on the cussing note I was listening to Kidd Kraddick the other morning and they were playing back a clip from when Emma Kelly was about 2 and kept saying everything was sh** and Jenna and J-Si kept talking about how funny that was! I can't stand when parents think kids cussing is hilarious - I HATE it! There's my soapbox :)
Great words--about all of it. I can relate to the "potty" problem. The novelty of it will soon wear off and she will sleep again. As for the things you wish, your Grandma would be so proud of what you said about people thinking kids cussing was cute. It is so true that if it is not going to be cute at 10, it shouldn't be treated as cute when they are 2. It's hard to undo something that has been acceptable at one time.
